Drone Central displays news from publisher feeds. The following describes this site’s current contact and advertising practices.
Contact form
When you send a message, we store your name, email address, message, submission time, and a one-way hash of your network address to limit spam. The message is available to the site owner in a private inbox. If email notification is configured, a copy is sent to the owner’s email service. Do not include sensitive information in a message.
Contact management and replies
We record the submitting IP address and approximate country with new contact messages for security and inquiry management. These are visible only in the protected admin area; VPNs and network routing can affect country accuracy. Contact details and messages you submit are stored in our private admin inbox and contact system to respond to your inquiry. We may retain communication notes and follow-up dates. Anonymous visitor statistics are kept separately and are not used to infer your name or email. Contact us to request correction or removal of your submitted details.
Translation
Your selected language is saved in your browser. When translation is available, the text may be processed by a translation service or your browser’s translation feature.
Visitor statistics
A first-party cookie with a random identifier counts approximate unique browsers. We store a one-way hash of that identifier, first and latest visit times, and the country inferred from the network location; we do not store your IP address for these statistics. The cookie lasts up to one year. For average time on site we also keep a random per-tab session identifier (stored in the tab until it closes), its hashed value, heartbeat timestamps, and estimated visible activity time. The public statistics page shows aggregated counts and averages, not individual visits. Time averages start when this feature is enabled; earlier durations cannot be reconstructed. Counts begin when this feature is enabled and may count the same person more than once across browsers or after cookies are cleared.
Signed-in account counts
If you choose to sign in with ChatGPT, we count that account separately from anonymous browser visits. We store a one-way hash of the site-specific account ID, first and latest visit times, and inferred country. We do not store your account email address in visitor statistics. Public counts show totals by country, not account identities. Account access does not establish one person per account.
Advertising and sponsorship
Paid placements, when present, are labeled as sponsored. We do not allow sponsors to select or rank editorial stories. Google AdSense code may display automatically placed ads when Google activates this site and the owner enables Auto ads. Google and its partners may use cookies or local storage and process device or browsing information for advertising. See Google’s advertising privacy information.
